We Will Remember Them
On the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, the guns fell silent to end the great war. We can’t begin to imagine the horrors endured by those soldiers or subsequent generations of soldiers during all the conflicts since.
We also can’t comprehend the sacrifices they made but we can remember them and in today’s uncertain times take inspiration from their example and courage.
So at 11 o’clock today for two minutes our phones will not be answered as we observe a two-minute silence to show our thanks, take time for reflection and appreciate everything that we have today because of all they gave and continue to give for us.
